What makes our school unique?
At Alder Ridge Academy, our progressive approach to learning offers students the chance to experience a truly student-centred, inquiry-based approach to learning. Our program is inspired by the established Montessori program. Our educational approach helps students develop the following attributes: confidence, self awareness, self management and curiosity.
What is the class size?
Maximum class size is no more than 15 children in toddler classrooms and no more than 16 children in our Casa classrooms.
When is the best time to visit?
School tours are available Monday through Friday starting from 9:30 a.m. –2:30 p.m. and last between 20-30minutes. We also offer information sessions throughout the year. Check our social media or website for more details.
What are our school hours?
For our half day students -18 months to 3 years, the school day runs from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.For our full day students -18 months to 6 years, the school day runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Is extended care available?
Yes. Extended care programs are available on regular school days for an additional cost. Please refer to the Fees section for more information. We also offer camps for March Break, winter Break and Summer Break.
Is bussing offered?
Yes. Transportation services will be available in the near future on regular school days for an additional cost for students residing within our service areas.
